Service Description

Welcome to our Ashtanga yoga class, where we embark on a journey of discipline, mindfulness, and self-discovery. Developed by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic and structured practice that combines breath, movement, and postures to cultivate strength, flexibility, and focus. In our class, we follow a specific sequence of postures, synchronized with the rhythm of our breath, guiding us through a series of movements that build upon each other. Divided into Primary, Intermediate, and Advanced series, our practice evolves gradually, offering opportunities for growth and exploration at every stage. Central to our practice is the concept of tristhana, which involves synchronizing three key elements: posture (asana), breath control (ujjayi pranayama), and focal points for gaze (dristhi). By integrating these aspects, we deepen our awareness, concentration, and connection to ourselves and the present moment. Our classes are typically conducted in a Mysore-style setting, allowing students to move through the practice at their own pace while receiving personalized guidance and adjustments from our experienced teachers. This self-paced approach encourages autonomy and self-discovery, empowering each practitioner to honor their unique journey on the mat. Through consistent practice, Ashtanga yoga offers a transformative path towards holistic well-being, fostering physical vitality, mental clarity, and spiritual growth.
